另一新世代魔術素材搜索引擎誕生 --- Conjuring Credits

最近在網路上引起一個新熱潮；很多有資歷的魔術師都會紛紛談及它的存在。這就是 Conjuring  Credits。

在最初的時候，小弟只是從德國牌術大師 Denis Behr 的個人網站裡看到的。當是，我看到的就只有一個小小的框框正在倒數著。一如已往，小弟很努力的找尋一些蛛絲馬跡；但是，一點尾目都沒有。當時正在倒數的，還在十九個小時。

網站開通以後，發現了這個網站又是一個了不起的東西。

這個網站的運作團隊十分驚人。有多驚人呢？給你們看些名字就知道了：

-          Helder Guimaraes

-          Max Maven

-          Stephen Minch

-          Tyler Wilson

-          Steve Reynolds

還有其他大師級的人物的存在，大家自己去看看便好了。

這個網站所提給的原材料類別總分十三大類，如撲克、硬幣和心靈魔術等等。每一個領域的魔術當中所包括的手法、理論、效果、道具、表演方式等等，全都有一個簡短的解釋以及首次被出版時所出現之刊物名稱都一一有顯示出來。對於任何魔齡之魔術師，這絕對是在修練旅途上的其中必要素材之一。

以下是這個網站的一些起源歷史：

"Conjuring Credits" Website Opens. It is a free website devoted to the history and origins of magical sleights, tricks and concepts.

In the mid 1980s, Stephen Minch and Max Maven began keeping a record of their research and that of others regarding the history of conjuring. Desiring to share this information with other researchers, writers and students of magic, they envisioned a free website that would make this possible. Robert Giobbi suggested that Denis Behr might be willing to create such a website.

Denis accepted the daunting task and took it further than Minch and Maven had envisioned, by installing valuable links to the Conjuring Arts Research Center's Ask Alexander database and Denis's own Conjuring Archive, making the website an exceptionally powerful research tool, one that provides not only a summary of the history of various tricks and sleights, but also makes many source documents available for verification and studies.

As the website was being developed, other experts were invited to participate and add information. These included William Kalush, Tyler Wilson, Aurelio Paviato, Roberto Giobbi and Dan Smith. The website currently presents an impressive wealth of information, and combined with Ask Alexander, the Conjuring Archive, offers the most powerful set of research tools yet devised for magicians. The Conjuring Credits board hopes that, with the help of magicians worldwide, the website will grow to become evern more helpful in discovering and making accessible the vast, complex and fascinating history of magic.

總結：

如果要小弟我給它一個稱號的話，我敢大膽說一句這個是魔術界的 “術式辭典” 。相比起以前，這個物體絕對是不可能於這個世上出現的 --- 因為是太寶貴了。

“Best Magician Contest 2014” RESULTS

“Best Magician Contest 2014” was successfully completed on April 26, 2014. Comparing with the past years, there were new talented magicians who came from different parts of Toronto to participate the contest; some of them even came from Ottawa just for showing off their talents and made our audience left with so much wonders and joy.

This year, the A1 Chinese Radio had hired more than one special guest for the contest so that the contest became much more entertaining. These guests demonstrated the true art form of magic with their professional skills and showmanship.

魔幻四射，術法之爭 --- “魔法達人” 再度登場！！

由加拿大A1中文電台 (http://www.ccue.com/a1_radio/web/) 主辦、多倫多華人魔術團 “Classic Force” 協辦之 “魔法達人” 強勢回歸。今次賽事於多倫多舉行，並破天荒將魔幻舞台定於Market Village 進行魔術競技比賽。本賽事將會是本地多倫多魔術愛好者與職業魔術師之間的生死搏鬥，以 “最強魔術師” 作名譽之戰。

一如以往，第三屆 “魔法達人” 將會雲集大多倫多地區內外所有魔術好手進行競技較量。能夠從初賽突圍而出之參賽者將會進身最後決賽，實行以個人實力競逐王者地位！！

比賽場地：Markham Village (位於 Steeles & Kennedy Rd.)

比賽資格：本賽事歡迎任何人仕參加 (不論任何年齡、國籍及性別) 比賽以廣東話為主；但是其他語言都歡迎。

魔術類型：舞台魔術或近景魔術。這並不是指定 “大型舞台illusion” ；任何適合於舞台上表演之魔術即可，例如：從一個空的帽子變出一隻白兔等等。

如何參賽：本賽事以 YOUTUBE影片作第一輪初賽。由即日起直至今年3月22日，每位參賽者只需要提交一段約2分鐘 (最多五分鐘) 的YOUTUBE影片作為初賽輪選、並以電郵方式把影片寄到此電郵地址：starz@classicforce.com。(備注：影片後制是許可的；但是不能夠在魔術效果上作任何改動。兩分鐘是包括所有影片後制以及魔術效果。)

Notes:

·         請在本年4月4日前提交參賽影片。任何在3月29日之後提交影片之參賽者，必需提交$20作為參賽費用。

·         當提交參賽影片的時候，請連同個人性名及聯絡方法一同附上、作為聯絡之用

·         每位參賽者只能提交一段影片當作初賽參加資格。.

Hello to all Magic Lovers, the moment is finally here.

In the evening of April 26^th , 2014, “[A1] Chinese Radio” (http://www.ccue.com/a1_radio/web/) is giving out opportunities to the magic lovers in Toronto! Bringing along with own incredible skills, the candidates will enter into an exciting competition held on a magical platform in Market Village.

Same as the previous years, this magic contest will gather all of professionals and entertainers within the magic scope and the qualified contestants will compete among themselves. After all, they are going to the same stage to compete for the fame of Top Magician in Toronto. It is absolutely an extraordinary experience to give yourself a chance to present your talent.

Date: April 26, 2014 (Saturday)

Time: 8:30pm

Contestant: All Ages, All Genders (The show will be hosted in Cantonese. However, English and other language speakers are welcomed.)

Performance: Stage Magic or Close-Up Magic. For stage magic, it does not have to be “big stage illusion; any magic that can be performed on stage is fine, such as producing a rabbit from an empty hat etc.)
Venue: Market Village (Steeles & Kennedy)

Audition: We will start with YOUTUBE audition right away. From now till March 22^nd, all participants only need to submit a roughly 2-minute video to: starz@classicforce.com. All videos should be titled as “Best Magician Contest 2014 1^st Audition: XXXXXX (the title of your performance)”. (P.S. Video editing is permitted; HOWEVER, no editing on the MAGIC PERFORMANCE. Two minutes are including the effect AND all of the editing.)

·         ·         By submitting your video before April 4^th, 2014, the entry fee will be automatically waived. Any video(s) submitted after March 29^th, 2014, a $20 entry fee will be applied.

[突發] 著名魔術大師 Aldo Colombini 離世

美國著名魔術師 Aldo Colombini 於今年二月十二日逝世，享年63歲。

Aldo 大師曾經出版過很多經典魔術教材，行內很多大師都紛紛對他的貢獻作出高度評價；對於突然離世的消息，震驚整個魔術界。

Aldo 首先是腦中風而入院，然後醫生說他右半身已經是不能再移動、並且已經不能再說話。經CAT scan 之後，醫生判段出已經沒有任何事可以再做。由於Aldo 自己本身不想用維生器，醫生說他盡可能只能生存多兩個星期。

Aldo 大師的消失對我來說是極度震驚，事關在剛學魔術的時候便很喜歡他、尊敬他。雖然天空都是這樣藍，但是無法改變我現在的心情。希望他在另外一個世界裡，能夠跟其他大師好好地生活下去。
